What if I live in another state?
We can work with you by phone, email and mail. We will need to verify that we are working with the owner or the executor of the property. Realtors or neighbors with keys also can assist us by providing us access to the home and providing you with the estimate of our percentage or buyout offer.
Will you move items from storage or other locations for my sale?
Yes. We will move items to a central location for your sale.
Do you sell vehicles, boats, motorcycles, etc.?
Yes. We will sell them for you at the sale. We will need to verify that you have the current title for any vehicle. We also offer our clients the ability to set a minimum price, which means you set the lowest price that are willing to accept for the vehicle. If no one offers at least your minimum price, the vehicle will not be sold.
How long does the process take? How much notice do you need?
Every situation is different. Sale completion depends on the number of items in the estate, as well as the estate location. Typically, we can complete a sale within a week’s time. However, it sometimes requires more. The amount of notice we need also varies. Sometimes, we can meet right away. In other cases, it can take longer to schedule a meeting. Just call us and we can begin discussing all details.

Do I have any out-of-pocket costs?
In most cases, the answer is no. We generally work on a commission from the total amount of sales from the estate sale. During our FREE in-home consultations, we can estimate the percentage that is needed to conduct a sale. This percentage depends on the size of the sale, required labor for setting up and hosting and whether or not there is an exorbitant amount of trash that needs to be removed. There are situations, though rare, when this process may leave you incurring some expenses. In most cases, these expenses are subtracted from the proceeds of the sale. We do our best to avoid any out-of-pocket expenses. During the consultation, we often are able to immediately give you the terms and conditions of our contract, including our percentage.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes. You and our company need to sign a proper written contract. This protects both parties. You will receive an original copy of the signed contract.
When do you hold the sale? How many days do you run the sale?
In many cases, a two-day sale is held on a Friday and a Saturday. Depending on the number of items in the estate, its size and quantity, we will a sale that lasts three days or more.
